I have heard of all of these and meetups is something i am going to start doing this year, I think it's a great idea but have never done it before.

I have done the traffic exchanges before and didn't get much joy but I agree with you about blogging, you do get better leads from blogging.

I completely agree with this. If people are involved with you on an emotional level, they will be much more likely to refer friends and family to your business, as well as talk positively about your brand.

There is a common technique that I personally have mixed feeling about but use sometimes and that is the “decoy” offer " apparently you made a choice, I don't know you and I never heard of you, but this text is to be found about every other IM page out there with the title : "The secret you never heard " or something like this.
I hope you are successful as you say you are and I hope your training are more in depth than the text above.
BTW i did not meant it is not good it is just not " A secret revealed" ;-}

Good things happen when you engage. Provide insightful, in-depth comments. Ask questions. Provide answers. Promote your buddies. Give, get. Sow, reap.

Also, join a series of Facebook Groups related to your niche. Groups are a great place to connect with like-minded folks, share content, and make powerful connections. Provide helpful comments and you will make friends at a breakneck pace. I was receiving 20 to 40 friend requests daily before I hit my limit. Now I am paring down my friend base, but the formula of commenting and sharing content continues to work well.

Great post - it is rather time consuming to find great articles but you are so right about the whole free leads thing. I PAID out of my ears for leads for years until I found out that they come for free by doing some simple internet marketing. =)

Hi Chris,

Blogging is 1 stop shopping for your visitors and prospects. Articles, videos, reviews, podcasts....you can post it all to your blog, so visitors gain an idea of what you have to offer.

Provide value on a steady basis and as you note, some posts will go viral, or at least become pretty darn popular. You gain authority not through these posts, but by churning out usable, helpful content day after day. Pass this persistence test and you can prosper in any area.

One note: keep your design clean. Like you, I have a clear cut call to action and 1 or 2 other widgets. That's it. You want readers to read your posts and take your primary call, whether it's to subscribe or visit your primary website.
